4-day iucn forum
The BMCC hosted the IUCN Regional Conservation Forum for Europe, North and Central Asia in Bruges from 30 September to 3 October. More than 400 delegates attended the Forum at the BMCC. The opening ceremony and plenary sessions took place in the auditorium, while thematic sessions were organized in the meeting rooms on the third floor. The exhibition, catering, and youth oasis were held on level 4, offering a magnificent view of the city of Bruges. Over the course of four days, participants engaged in lively discussions, 58 thematic sessions, and a Forum Fair, with a focus on youth involvement and the crucial role of diverse actors in conservation efforts.
