On December 4th, we had the privilege of hosting the 25th edition of the Belgian Event Awards (BEA) at the BMCC. Organized by Bruges based agency meetmarcel, the event was attended by 1100 event planners and highlighted the power of authentic impact and the connections the event industry can create—not just between businesses and their clients but also with society.

After an online preliminary round of the BEA Competition 2024, the selected agencies were invited to present their final projects to a panel of corporate event managers at the BMCC on December 3rd. These presentations were attended on-site by 350 event professionals, corporates, and students in the auditorium and foyer level 3. After a day filled with presentations, the jury withdrew to deliberate on the final winners.
On Wednesday evening, the awards were presented during an impressive awards show in the expo hall.

The entire city was part of this unforgettable evening, featuring a breathtaking laser projection connecting the BMCC to the city’s iconic towers, accompanied by Bruges’ carillonneur Wim Berteloot playing the music of and together with Jef Neve.

Guests were treated to a spectacular show, unique culinary delights, inspiring performances and a vibrant afterparty. It was truly an evening to remember.
