At the BMCC, flexibility is not an added benefit, it is a natural part of the way we work. As a team, we look beyond standard planning and actively explore how events can be aligned, combined, or optimized to create added value for all parties involved.
A recent example illustrates this principle:
A large-scale event with an extensive technical setup was scheduled in our expo hall. Shortly afterwards, we received a request for a second major event in the same space, taking place the following day and requiring significant production infrastructure as well.
Organising two events of this scale on consecutive days is almost impossible. A complete dismantling and rebuilding of the hall would normally be required, resulting in higher costs, additional workload, and a greater environmental impact.
Our team did not see this as an obstacle, but as an opportunity. We brought both organizers together and explored how their technical and operational needs could be aligned. Through open dialogue and creative thinking, an agreement was reached in which both events could share several key elements:
-
The technical infrastructure, with only minor adjustments
-
The same caterer
-
Shared decor, including plants
-
The same carpeting
Thanks to a limited turnaround between the events, the space could be efficiently adapted while allowing each event to maintain its own identity.
The result was a clear win-win situation. Both clients benefited from cost savings, a reduced ecological impact, and smoother logistics without compromising on quality or experience.
At the BMCC, we believe that collaboration is the key to successful events. By thinking flexibly and acting as a strategic partner rather than simply a venue, we help our clients unlock opportunities they may not have previously considered.
