The UCI Mobility and Bike City Forum will take place at the BMCC
The 2023 edition of the uci mobility and bike city forum will take place on 25-26 october in the convention centre of the BMCC.
The Forum annually brings together cycling leaders, mobility experts and policy makers to exchange on the future of active mobility.
Just a few months after experiencing the power of the bike at 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships, UCI will publicly launch the 2022 UCI Sustainability Report in Bruges. The expert panels and presentations held throughout the first day of the forum will include the topics of cycling and climate change, social inclusion, innovation in road safety as well as innovation in public policy. On the second day, a range of interactive workshop will allow participants to go deeper on topics like safety of cycling infrastructures, cycling promotion, the use of data for cycling promotion or women in cycling and share best practices with a broad network. The Forum will close with different bike tours that will showcase what the city of Bruges has already implemented for children’s cycling education, road safety, sports innovation, and infrastructure & services.
